Once a focus area has been selected within a template, the changes you are able to make to this will be limited, however these are explained fully below.
To rename the focus area, you can go to Admin > Templates > Focus Area, then click the blue pencil on the right. To enable or disable evidence for a focus area, click the green or red speech bubble in the Action column.
To edit the description or teacher standards, or add/edit outcome set criteria within a focus area, click into the focus area name, then click ‘Edit Focus Area’.
You will then be presented with a pop-up window, detailing how many published or unpublished records this change will affect.
Click Continue to proceed. Once you have made the necessary changes, click Save at the bottom.
If you’re looking to edit the layout, outcome set or add/remove a comment box, you would not be able to do this without removing the focus area from the associated template/s. For information on doing this, please follow the flow chart below.
