Trends can be accessed by clicking Reports > select the record type tab, e.g. Quality Assurance, and selecting the relevant trends option, e.g. Monthly.
The Trends shown below are examples of the analysis provided, you can use any combination of these in your reports.
Count / Month
In this example the ‘Count’ and ‘Monthly’ options have been selected, which will show the number of times each outcome (within a selected outcome set) has been selected in each focus area across 12 months. The selected month will be highlighted in yellow, and this can be changed by clicking ‘Change Date Range’. Arrows will be displayed to indicate an increase or decrease in the selected outcome from the previous point. The outcome set can be changed using the Outcome Set dropdown and clicking ‘Apply’.
Percent / Report Window
In this example the ‘Percent’ and ‘Report Window’ options have been selected, which will show the percentage for each outcome based on how many records this has been selected in out of all the records that contain the selected outcome set. This will be displayed for each focus area across the report windows within an academic year, and you can choose to analyse a specific outcome within an Outcome Set using the tabs.
The ‘Show / Hide Counts’ button will display or hide the counts used to calculate the percentages.
Average and School/Academic Year
In this example the ‘Avg’ and ‘School/Academic Year’ options have been selected, which will show the average outcome for each academic year. The ‘Show / Hide Counts’ button will display or hide the counts used to calculate the average outcome. The ‘Avg’ option will only be available for outcomes that make use of values.
