If you have members of staff who teach multiple subjects, then this information can be imported into Observe by ensuring each staff member has a separate row in your file with each subject included.
In the above example, the staff member 'Adrian Sisra' teaches English, Maths and RE. Therefore, there are three rows in the file for this particular staff member, with the 'Staff Team' column containing the names of the three subjects they teach.
| Note - It is important that for each staff member, each row has consistent values for each column other than Staff Team. Otherwise, this will cause a staff detail conflict error during the import. |
Once your file is prepared for import and saved as a CSV (MS DOS) file, this can be imported into Observe by going to Admin > Data > Staff > Staff Import tab.

When you have completed the Team Matching process during the import, the Import Summary will appear showing further details of the staff member(s) being imported, allowing you to check this information before confirming.
In the 'Team Count' column, this shows the number of Teams (Subjects) that each staff member will be included in once the import is completed, after clicking Confirm.
When you go to select a Staff member in a record who belongs to multiple teams, you will then be prompted to select the relevant team for that record.
